About Me
Ghada Hassan is a registered psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of -Ontario (CRPO). Ghada has a master degree in art in counselling psychology from Yorkville university (MACP). Her background is in medicine as she has a bachelor of general medicine and surgery form Egypt where she worked as a family doctor for many years. After she immigrated to Canada, she studied for a masters in psychology and worked as a registered psychotherapist to help people suffering from mental health disorders. As an immigrant who had the experience to work in different countries with individuals from different backgrounds this made her able to provide therapy cross-culturally and in cultural sensitive approach. Furthermore, Ghada has training in many approaches which allows her to choose the approaches and techniques that meet the client's specific needs. Ghada works with general mental health disorders such as: generalized anxiety disorders, depression, mood changes, PTSD, panic attacks, among other things.
